Compliance Notes
Important behavior for audits and compliance workflows (deletes, recalls, and record-keeping).
Ink Registration is designed for record-keeping. A few behaviors are important to understand for audits and compliance workflows.
Deleting Inks Is Permanent
Deleting an ink performs a hard delete and cannot be undone.
Deleting an ink can remove booking registrations
Deleting an ink can also remove its registrations on bookings. For compliance record-keeping, studios should prefer deactivating inks instead of deleting them.
Flagged / Recalled Batches
TatTool can flag certain ink batch numbers (for example, from external safety sources). If an ink is flagged, treat it as urgent and follow your studio policy (stop using it, isolate stock, contact supplier, etc.).
Deactivating The Extension Can Delete Data
Deactivating/uninstalling the Ink Registration extension can permanently delete ink inventory, registrations, and uploaded data sheets for the organization.
Before deactivating
If you need records for compliance, avoid deactivating the extension until you’ve confirmed your retention/export plan.
