Clients & Participants

Clients are the people you tattoo. Participants are the members assigned to events.

TatTool separates clients (external) from members (internal).

Clients

A client record represents the person receiving the service.

Clients are used across:

  • Bookings and consultations
  • Consent forms and reminders
  • Payments and receipts (depending on your workflow)

See: Clients

Participants (Members)

The participant is the member assigned to do the work (usually the artist).

Participant selection matters for:

  • Calendar visibility and workload
  • Availability rules
  • Reporting (revenue/utilization by member)

Organizer / Created By

Some views and filters also track who created the event.

This is useful for:

  • Auditing workflows (reception-created vs artist-created)
  • Insight filtering (“Created by”)
