Accounts & Organizations
How your account relates to organizations, and why settings are split between account and organization.
TatTool separates your account from the organizations you work in.
Account (You)
Your account is your personal identity in TatTool.
An account can be linked to multiple organizations (for example, if you guest at another studio or manage multiple studios).
Your account controls things like:
- Profile name and avatar
- Language and phone number
- Security settings (password, 2FA)

Organization (Shared Workspace)
An organization is the shared workspace that holds your studio’s data and configuration:
- Members and roles
- Locations
- Events (bookings, consultations, etc.)
- Payments and reporting configuration
- Tags and extensions
Organization settings are global and affect everyone in that organization.

Membership (You In One Organization)
When your account joins an organization, you get a membership in that organization.
Membership controls:
- Your role (permissions)
- Organization-specific settings (for example calendar event color)

Settings → Account → My Membership (for the current organization).
