Not compliance advice
Ink Registration supports compliance workflows, but TatTool does not interpret regulations for your jurisdiction. Always follow your local requirements and studio policy.
Quick Start (Recommended Reading Order)
- Read Registering Inks to set up your ink inventory (bottles/batches).
- Optional: Read Ink Retailers if you need to track where inks were purchased from.
- Read Using Inks On Bookings for the day-to-day “register ink” workflow.
- Optional: Read Data Sheets to upload PDFs and attach them to inks.
- Optional: Read Sharing Ink Data With Clients to generate a link/QR for clients.
- Optional: Read Ink Lifecycle & Expiration for active/inactive, open dates, and expiration warnings.
The Mental Model
Ink Registration is built around three things:
- Ink (inventory record): a bottle/batch you can reuse across bookings.
- Ink retailer: the supplier or shop the ink was bought from.
- Ink registration (on a booking): a record that an ink was used for a specific appointment.
- Data sheet (PDF): a document you upload and optionally attach to an ink (and share with clients).
