Account
Understand how accounts work across organizations, and how Account settings are split between membership and global profile.
Your TatTool account is your personal user profile. One account can be linked to multiple organizations.
The Account settings page controls two things:
- My Membership (applies to the current organization)
- Account (applies to your user account across organizations)
To access it: Settings → Account
Fast answers
- Where do I change my calendar color? Settings → Account → My Membership
- Where do I pin pages for quick access? Use the pin icon in the top bar (see Pin To Sidebar)
- Where do I change my name/avatar? Settings → Account → Account
- Where do I change language? Settings → Account → Language
- Where do I enable 2FA? Settings → Account → Two-Factor Authentication
- Can I leave an organization? Yes (except owners)
Account vs Membership (Important)
My Membership (Organization-specific)
Membership settings are tied to one organization. If you’re in multiple organizations, you can have different membership details in each one.
Typical membership details include:
- Your role (Owner/Admin/Manager/Member/Reception)
- Your event color (used in the calendar)
Account (Global)
Account settings are tied to your user account, not a specific organization.
Typical account details include:
- Your profile name
- Your avatar
- Your language preference
- Your phone number
- Your security settings (password and 2FA)
