Insight is reporting, not accounting
Insight helps you understand performance and capacity. It does not replace Stripe dashboards, bank statements, or accounting software.
What Insight Is
Insight is a reporting dashboard made of widgets. It helps you answer questions like:
- How much revenue did we generate (and how is it calculated)?
- How busy are we (utilization)?
- What is upcoming capacity and workload?
- Are we on track for our revenue targets?
What Insight Isn’t
Insight is not:
- A bank balance or payout report
- A source of truth for tax/legal compliance
- A replacement for your accounting system
