Managing Accounts
Manage multiple Vipps MobilePay sales units, update credentials, and archive connections.
Go to Extensions → Vipps MobilePay → Accounts to manage your receiving accounts. Account changes require an owner or admin role.
Use Multiple Accounts
Choose Add account for each sales unit you want to connect. Use names your staff can distinguish, such as the location or business receiving the money.
When creating a payment request, select the correct Receiving account. Its currency must match the request currency. The payment method and account stay the same after you create the request, even if you later rename the account or add another one.
View Details Or Rename
Choose the account name or View details to see its payment method, status, currency, and sales unit. If setup is incomplete, the details can also show the reason.
Choose Rename to change the name shown in TatTool. Renaming does not change the receiving sales unit or its payment history.
Replace Credentials
If you replace keys in the provider portal, choose Update credentials on the existing TatTool account. Enter the replacement Client ID, Client secret, and Subscription key for the same sales unit, then choose Save credentials.
Use Check setup and confirm the account is Ready before requesting new payments. To receive money through a different sales unit, add a separate account.
Archive An Account
Choose Archive from the account menu and review the confirmation.
- The account is removed from the active account list and cannot be selected for new requests.
- Existing links cannot start a new checkout through the archived account.
- Payments already in progress can still finish and be recorded.
- Payment history remains available, and refunds remain tied to the original account.
Archiving does not refund payments or close your business account with Vipps MobilePay. Check any outstanding requests before archiving. If an unpaid request needs a different account, follow Cancel Or Correct A Request. Check that the client is not still paying the original request first.
