Announcements
Show organization notices on the calendar without blocking scheduling.
Announcements share information across one or more locations, such as special days, changes, or important notices.
Announcements don’t block scheduling
Use announcements to communicate. Use location closures or time off to block availability.
Announcement Period
Choose the period during which the announcement should be visible.
You can:
- Type the start and end date and time
- Click the calendar icon to open the date picker popover
Title
Enter a short title for the announcement. This is the primary text shown in the calendar.
Show In Locations
Select one or more locations where the announcement should be displayed. Only users viewing those locations will see the announcement.
Description
Write the full announcement text. Use this to explain:
- What the announcement is about
- Any relevant details or instructions
Calendar Behavior
Announcements are shown in the calendar:
- They appear in the all-day header at the top of the calendar
- To edit an announcement, click it in the calendar
- Click any value in the Event Sheet to edit it
