Payments, Refunds & Fees

Payments completed through Stripe are registered automatically in TatTool.

TatTool displays payment information for operations, audit, and reporting — but it does not replace your accounting system.

Refunds And Adjustments

• Choose Refund via Stripe on a booking payment to send money back through Stripe to the original payment method.
• Refunds processed directly in Stripe are also reflected in TatTool when the integration receives them.
• Choose Record external refund only for money already returned by cash, bank transfer, or another configured offline method. This does not send money or reverse provider fees.
• Provider refunds and externally recorded refunds share the remaining refundable balance.

Fees

• New Stripe payments have no TatTool application fee and no added customer surcharge.
• Stripe processing fees are paid by the studio through the selected connected account.
• Check your Stripe agreement and dashboard for your actual rates and payout schedule.
• Historical payments retain their original fee records; the new setup does not rewrite past transactions.

A refund does not reopen the original payment request. Create a new request if another payment is needed. While a refund is pending, wait for confirmation before initiating or recording another refund.
