Pin To Sidebar
Pin frequently used pages to your sidebar for faster navigation.
TatTool lets you pin pages to the sidebar so you can jump to them quickly.
Pinned items are:
- Per user (your pins don’t affect other team members)
- Per organization (each organization can have its own pinned set)
Pin A Page
- Open the page you want to pin
- In the top bar (next to the breadcrumbs), click the pin icon
If the page can be pinned, the pin button is visible. If it’s not visible, that page isn’t pinnable.
Where Pinned Pages Appear
Pinned pages show up in the sidebar under a section called Pinned.
To remove a pin, either:
- Click the pin icon again while on that page, or
- Use the unpin action on the pinned item in the sidebar
What Can Be Pinned
You can pin pages that exist as sidebar navigation items, such as:
- Main sections (Dashboard, Calendar, Clients, Flows, etc.)
- Some Settings pages
- Installed extensions
Some deep sub-pages (edit screens or detail views) may not be pinnable.
Limits (Important)
You can pin up to 5 items per organization.
Pins ignore filters and URL extras
Pins are saved as a stable internal path. Things like ?search=... or #section are not included.
If A Pin Looks Wrong Or Stops Working
Pinned items are based on what you currently have access to. If your role changes or an extension is removed/disabled, a pinned item might:
- Show a generic label, or
- Lead to a page you no longer have access to
Unpin it and pin a different page if needed.
