## Flows and Automations

TatTool Flows automate communication around bookings, payments, consent forms, and other studio events.

- Start a flow when an event is created, updated, deleted, starts, or ends, then run actions immediately, before or after the event, or at a timed offset.
- Check conditions against current details such as the location, assigned artist, creator, consent form state, or ink registration state.
- Send email, SMS, internal notifications, and webhooks, and use wait steps to space messages across one workflow.
- Choose manual flows for case-by-case communication or Run always flows for standard messages whenever their trigger conditions are met.
- Review Flow Logs to see which actions ran, what succeeded or failed, what data was processed, and whether retries occurred.
- Flows run in the background and cannot change bookings, payments, or other core records.
